Richard Tillies, aka "Professor T", is an experienced STEM educator with over two decades of college-level teaching and academic leadership in information technology and mathematics. He currently serves as the Department Head of Computer Programming & Information Sciences at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC, where he manages degree programs and certificate offerings in Software Development, Business Analytics, and Data Science.
Richard earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in Information Technology Education from Radford University in Virginia. Beyond the field of education, "Professor T" is a certified kickboxing trainer, a commissioned Notary Public in the state of North Carolina, and a professional Spades player and coach. He can also perform a backflip and solve a Rubik's Cube (although not at the same time).
