Bobby McNeil Jr. is an award-winning Talent Acquisition Leader, speaker, and author with over a decade of experience helping professionals grow and organizations hire top talent. He began his career in recruiting in 2009 and has since become a trusted voice across tech, engineering, finance, and beyond. A former collegiate athlete and NCAA Division II National Champion at Barton College, Bobby brings a foundation of discipline, resilience, and teamwork into his work today. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for NC TECH and as Vice President of Development for the National Black MBA Association’s Raleigh-Durham Triad Chapter. He also previously served as President of Blacks In Technology Raleigh-Durham, leading the chapter to global recognition.
Bobby is the author of “Cracking the Code: 10 Possible Reasons You Didn’t Get the Job”, a candid and culturally grounded career guide that blends real stories with practical strategies for navigating today’s job market. He is also a TEDx speaker, delivering his talk Not Breaking In, But Becoming, which challenges traditional narratives around access, growth, and ownership in one’s career journey. His thought leadership has been featured on national podcasts and in media outlets including CNBC.
