AI Readiness Summit 2026

Welcome to the AI Readiness Summit

Presented by the RDU Triad Chapter of the National Black MBA Association® in partnership with Cisco Connected Black Professionals-RTP

Welcome to the AI Readiness Summit!

We are excited to bring together professionals, entrepreneurs, students, educators, technologists, and community leaders for a day dedicated to one of the most transformative technologies of our time—Artificial Intelligence.

The purpose of this summit is simple: to help you move from curiosity to capability.
AI is no longer a future concept. It is already changing how we work, learn, communicate, create, solve problems, and lead. Yet many professionals are still asking the same questions:
  • Where do I start?
  • Which tools should I be using?
  • How do I use AI responsibly?
  • How can AI make me more productive without replacing critical thinking?
  • What skills do I need to remain competitive in an AI-powered world?
Today's summit is designed to answer those questions through practical conversations, hands-on learning, real-world examples, and collaborative discussions.

Throughout the day, you will explore:

✅ Foundational AI concepts and terminology
✅ Effective prompting techniques for work and business
✅ Responsible and ethical AI usage
✅ Strategies for maintaining critical thinking in an AI-enabled environment
✅ Real-world applications that can improve productivity, creativity, and decision-making
✅ Interactive labs and peer discussions focused on practical implementation

This is not a conference about hype. It is a conference about readiness.

Whether you are completely new to AI or already experimenting with advanced tools, our goal is for you to leave with actionable knowledge, practical skills, and greater confidence in your ability to navigate the future of work.

Getting the Most Out of Your Experience

  • Attend sessions that align with your interests and goals.
  • Participate actively in discussions and labs.
  • Ask questions and share your experiences.
  • Connect with fellow attendees and speakers.
  • Explore new tools and approaches with curiosity and an open mind.

Most importantly, remember that AI is not a replacement for human ingenuity, it is a tool that can amplify it.
We hope today's experience inspires you to think bigger, learn faster, and lead more confidently in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Thank you for joining us.

Welcome to the AI Readiness Summit. Let's build the future together.
